I am very happy to have been invited to speak at a storytelling conference in Bucharest, hosted by DoR magazine, this month. It was intimidating to share the stage with Pullitzer Prize winning journalists, but gave me the chance to punch above my weight. I was asked to speak about visual story-telling and so discussed the evolution of my images inspired by nature and ecology. Over the last 20 years, I've addressed changes to the environment of some of my favorite places through the use of allegory, satire, art historical reference, and personal expression.
To find out what you missed, here's a review of the speakers from day 1 and day 2.
