All We Need is Here

I love finding goodies in the garbage. As an Italian friend of mine once said, "In America, you can find entire battleships in the trash." And I love raccoons. There was a large one living in my attic for a time and I caught him in a live trap. To see such a beautiful creature up close and to watch his nimble fingers shred the towel that was covering his cage as I waited for my friend to come help deliver him to the woods was unforgettable. I have been a fan of raccoons ever since.
