A well-written artist statement is honest and illuminating and is intended to deepen your audience’s connection with your work.  It is also essential for exhibitions, grant applications, entry into juried shows, and more.  Despite the necessity, many of us find it a daunting task.  If the thought of writing an artist statement fills you with dread, let me help.

In a two hour consultation, you'll share 5-10 images of your work. I'll ask about your intentions, ideas, influences, and process and then guide you through the writing and revising process.
