Book Launch events with Lulu Miller and Kate Samworth

Posted by on

Lulu Miller asked me to illustrate her book, Why Fish Don't Exist. This was a thrill because I am a huge fan of her work (and of her) and because I've always wanted to illustrate books for adults. She's  a Peabody-award winning journalist known for her contributions to such shows as RadioLab and Invisibilia (among others) and the author of the Why Fish Don't Exist, to be released April 15th by Simon & Schuster.

She's a fantastic story-teller, so don't miss out on the chance to hear her speak.

Upcoming appearances:

Philadelphia Science Festival. Lulu will be in conversation with Maiken Scott, host of WHYY's The Pulse, on Tuesday, April 21st. More info here.

Annapolis Book Festival. Lulu will be in conversation with radio and podcast producer Kara McGuirk-Allison, whose most recent work includes NPR’s Hidden Brain podcast. Saturday, April 25th at 10 am. More info here.

Politics and Prose, 5015 Connecticut Ave. Saturday, April 25th at 3:30 pm. Join us afterwards downstairs in The Den for an exhibit of the original illustrations.

Catch her at the Tattered Cover bookstore in Denver, CO (1628 16th Street) on Monday, May 18, 2020 at 7:00pm
